Technical Program Manager, eUICC

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The eUICC Technical Program Manager will represent Google’s interests on eUICC at various standards bodies (e.g. GSMA), and influence the industry standardization process to adopt positions that benefit users and the overall industry including platforms, OEMs, and challenger carriers.

As Technical Program Manager you will ensure that our Engineering, Product, Engineering Productivity and UX teams are all aligned. You will work with Product and Engineering to scope, size and schedule work and then drive engineering, test and release activity to deliver the project. There is no single way teams do this at Google, so part of the challenge for you is to figure out the lightest weight process that keep the project on schedule, without hindering developer velocity.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical direction of your programs.
