How can connected devices enable the tough worlds of civil engineering construction, infrastructure and buildings?
Connecting cranes, pouring concrete and enabling critical infrastructure come together in the intensely practical world of civil engineering and construction. In this event we address the realities of connecting devices in the built environment through innovating the construction process or embedding the devices into the structures for future management purposes. How will the diverse mix of engineers, materials, equipment, sensors, machines, buildings, transport, weather, and logistics work together? Speakers will explore some of the challenges and pitfalls of the connected world emerging under our feet and over our heads in this very down-to-earth program.
