Applicable to all companies, this practical seminar is your opportunity to hear about free services and more that can help you to protect your technology and enabling you to exploit your assets locally, nationally and internationally.

Almost daily we hear news about the risk of cybercrime as we increasingly depend upon the internet and e-mails for communication and trade.

Phil Cobley, Regional Cyber Protect Coordinator will outline the risks businesses now face and explain how the Cyber Crime Unit is responding to this ever growing threat. The afternoon will give you practical suggestions on how to protect your business against cybercrime highlighting relevant support and sources of finance. The day will end with an optional tour of the Cyber Security Centre.

Hosted by the University of Hertfordshire, this event has been organised by the Enterprise Europe Network East of England in collaboration with the Regional Cyber Crime Unit Eastern Region Police Special Operations Unit and the Knowledge Transfer Network.

Relevant to high technology, manufacturing companies and others looking to out-perform the competition, this event will be of interest to CEOs, Marketing, Sales and Technical Directors along with IT staff and Managers. Those looking to start a business are also welcome to attend. Networking in an informal environment, there will be ample time for questions and to discuss how to take ideas forward.
